Rehearsal, Studio and Performance Facilities

The Australian Institute of Country Music is located in a restored heritage listed building in the CBD of Gympie. The facilities include:

– main performance auditorium;

– rehearsal rooms;

– computer lab;

– recording studio; and

– kitchen and lunchroom.

The building also provides some very special features for students:

–  it is located in the CBD so transport and parking are close by;

– the thick stone walls provide excellent soundproofing, so no complaints from neighbours!

This is the main public performance venue with great atmosphere and character, high ceilings and wired for sound. the ideal spot for a concert and the stage is where the original Judge’s Bench was!

The Music Factory

The Music Factory is our onsite recording studio. It is located in a separate building, an ex air-raid bunker, so has thick walls and great sound!
